Problem
The problem
FCAT India, Fidelity's in-house R&D unit, was shipping experimental B2B and B2C fintech products on emerging tech - blockchain, algorithmic trading - with one designer and no established UX practice to build on.
Approach
How it got built
As sole designer for FCAT India, established UX best practices for the unit from scratch.
Acted as product owner for Go-Algo, an algorithmic-trading sandbox letting retail investors experiment with strategies against historical market data.
Contributed design for a blockchain liquidity solution for warrant securities.
Shipped
What I shipped
- Go-Algo, the algorithmic-trading sandbox.
- A blockchain liquidity solution for warrant securities.
- A research-analyst startup-data tagging tool.
- The FCAT showcase site (live).
- Multiple savings-app prototypes: Rainy Day, Beanstalk, Travel.
Outcome
What it moved
- Key member of the team that raised $40M for revamping critical parts of the brokerage platform.
TODO - verify
- The resume states the $40M raise at the team level, not tied to a specific shipped item above - verify before implying any single product listed here was the pitch centerpiece.
